I have been on here for almost a month but I feel like every time something stresses me out I start eating everything. I usually make it through the day fine but have a hard time right before bed because I am craving sweets. Any advice on how to stay on track? I think I should go to bed early just to stay away from my kitchen. I am going to go to the mall today to just walk around with the kids, I have 3 but two are small and I am a stay at home mom. So they are always with me. It's too chilly today for walks outside plus it looks like it will rain.

It is really hard. I have a sweet tooth and grew up eating desert before bed every night. It is a very bad habit for me to break, but I have been working on it to the best that I can that works for me.
A few things I do to help me when I have late night cravings are:
- Removing the foods from the house (if its not there I don't eat it)
- Drinking a glass or two of water
- I actually have gone to bed early if I can't get it out of my mind
- Make myself do something else, sometimes I do a few minutes on the treadmill, lift some weights, clean the house, watch TV, get ready for the next day, take a shower, anything to get myself thinking of something else.
Also, I try to eat a lot early in the day, if I fill up on good stuff and proteins in the morning, I have noticed I am less hungry at night. If it is really bad and I must have something, I like to eat greek yogurt, it is sweet and thick and usually will hit the spot for me.
Best of Luck - it really is hard, but you can do it! Use your kids as your motivation, know that you want to be the healthiest, happiest mommy just for them!0 -
I am usually fine until my husband gets home and then he finds some way to annoy me and then forget it, i end up consuming another 2,000 or 3,000 calories. I will try drinking more water and keeping busy as per your suggestion. Today was good I stayed under calories and I went to the mall just to walk around. I put the kids in the stroller and killed some time. I am planning on doing that every day from now through the summer because its almost beach time and I feel like its crunch time. I already spent my birthday fat and I refuse to be out and about looking like this.0
