I live in Western Canada, furtherest place I have travelled to is St. Maarten!

Would love to be able to replace that with Fiji or Tahiti one day!

When I lived in Hawaii, I deployed to Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait. They're on opposite sides of the world. Ten hour time difference.

By the way, if you're curious about the furthest places on the globe from wherever you live, this is a nifty little website: furthestcity.com/

I live in the PNW, and the farthest I've gone from home is Paris, France. Also been as far south as Jamaica, and as far west as Kaua'i. Furthest state is Florida, just before going to Jamaica! :)

    Edit: spelling :grumble:

From where I am now, you mean? I've lived everywhere, but from Phoenix, the farthest I've been to is Moscow.

Been to California and lived there for a bit, been to Florida/Georgia/Indiana... Still got to visit the other side of the country, plus Alaska + Hawaii. Not really interested in anything else, though.

Corpus Christi, Texas from Detroit, MI in an old RV. That was a long trip and the worst vacation ever.

I suck. Never been out of the country. Montana. But I did make it out of the South. They let us out every now and then.

Where in Montana? I live in Montana....:)

Furthest I've been is Australia in August of 2003 following my college graduation.

Either Madrid, Spain or New York USA... Whichever of them is farther away from Buenos Aires. It's about the same time on the airplane, so I guess distances are pretty similar

To the West, the Pacific coast of the U.S. is the furthest I've gone. I was born in a beach city in California.

To the East, Italy. My mom took me to Southern France with her on a business trip when I was in college. We went to Spain, Monaco and Italy on side trips.

All the people I met when I was in Europe were very nice. But I think it's probably true with people everywhere: if you're polite and respectful to them, they will be back to you. And I found out that Italians really do say, "Mama Mia!" just like in the movies. :D
