Walking Calculations?

I'm just wondering if the MFP cardio calculator takes into consideration that when a person walks a dog at that moderate pace of 3.0 mph, a male dog is going to be stopping to sniff and lift his leg on everything standing? *sigh* I get frustrated trying to keep up my moderate pace and I end up deducting 5-10 minutes from my time due to all the stopping. Yet he loves to walk with me and I'd feel horribly guilty leaving him home while I walk.
