Buying an elliptical

Hi folks! Does anyone have recommendations for a good home elliptical? I'm looking for a good quality machine in the $1000 range to use on days when I can't make it to the gym. I love the Precor Adaptive Motion Trainer at the gym, so if you know of anything similar that would be great. What's most important to me is that it be sturdy, reliable, and ideally have a good number of"variety" or "random hill" settings.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I was looking at prosumer models last night, most are around $3-4k.
I don't think you'd want the $1k models, they're rickety and loud as all get out in my experience.0 -
Bowflex just released a brand new one, I saw it today on a commercial. Normally I don't buy into that stuff but I liked what they had to say about it but I have no idea how much it costs.0

Thanks! I hear you, dbmata. Unfortunately, $3-4k is out of my budget. I don't mind noise but I'd rather stay away from rickety, if I can help it. Will check out the Bowflex, Sam I am. Thanks again!0

Bowflex might be an option. Good luck.0
