I feel silly about this but I am very excited that I made my goal! I was at maintenance weight for several years but started gaining a several months ago.

I signed up for MFP to get control of my snacking. I figured if I forced myself to log my calories and snacks I would make better choices (especially portion size!). I read a lot, figured out my theoretical BMR and TDEE and set out to lose the weight I gained.

I dropped the weight I gained plus 2-3 extra pounds. The 2-3 extra pounds were part of my goal so I could have a little wiggle room for the holidays.

I have read so many inspiring stories on here and wanted to say thank you to everyone who posts them.

On to the next goal, strength training!
