Being Healthy in a Slightly Unhealthy Home

Hi guys! :)
So, through myfitnesspal I have successfully lost about 40 pounds all on my own! :D
Although I have the last 10-15 more to go, I'm really proud of myself considering I'm still in high school!
Anyway, do any of you have any tips on dealing with sugar cravings after dinner?
I always have sugar cravings around 7-9 p.m. and no matter what I do, they don't seem to fade away. I eat a healthy balanced diet during the day, and my family keeps a lot of junk food snacks in my house. I don't eat them usually, but sometimes I just go crazy and before I know it I've eaten like 3 funsize candy bars and a fiberone brownie all in one sitting?
Which is crazy!! It really makes me frustrated and I always feel bad about myself afterwards.
Do you have any tips on breaking the habit of wanting sweets at night?
Thanks in advance :)

I work the Fiber One brownies into my day... sometimes 2 or 3. I figure if it's within my goals then no harm done. And it helps me hit my fiber macro, so it's a win-win.

I'm seriously no help there. :stuck_out_tongue:

STEVIA! I can not say enough good things about Stevia, its a natural sweetener from a plant, and it has no calories. If you have a health food store anywhere near by you could probably find some.
Make you own "treat cupboard" with Stevia hard candy, Stevia sweet tarts, Stevia gum. Also, some grocery stores sell Zevia which is stevia soda.
When I have a bad sugar crave I take a can of Zevia Cream Soda put it in a glass with ice and a straw and it is a sweet delicious treat and it fools your brain!
  • Cool idea, thank you!! :)

Wal Mart and Target have Stevia and at a much lower price than a "health food" store
