I've decided I am going to buy some protein powder. I don't even eat 60g of protein most days, and I have started gymnastics so I would like to get stronger too.
Home & Bargains sell protein powder, which I think is their own brand. It is 908g for £14.99
The nutrition is:
http://www.homebargains.co.uk/products/8904-zone-nutrition-whey-protein-chocolate-908g.aspx
Nutritional Information:
Typical Value Per 100g Per 30g
Energy (kJ) 931 279
Energy (kcal) 229 69 - wrong I read the label and it's something like 115
Protein (g) 74.0 22.2
Fat (g) 3.7 1.1
(Saturates) 1.0 0.3
(Monosaturate) 0.5 0.2
(Polyunsaturates) 0.0 0.0
Trans (g) 0.0 0.0
Carbohydrate (g) 3.0 0.9
Dietry Fibre (AOAC) (g) 1.7 0.5
Sodium (g) 0.1 (77mg) 0.0 (23mg)
They also had a diet one which was 90ish calories for 22g of protein for £17.99 for 1kg.
I have been researching this and some people say it is ok, and some people say it is rubbish and recommend http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/impact-whey-protein/10530943.html
They work out the same price, but the myprotein is slightly more expensive for the chocolate with the delivery charges.
Does the Home & Bargains one seem ok? I have no clue about protein powders. Thanks

115 cals and 22 g protein low carbs low fat... Looks ok, Always a good idea to try the sample packs to see if it mixes well and you like the taste.0

myprotein seams like a popular protein supplement. I would go with the one with the best tasting reviews if you're planning to consume it everyday.
