Feeling discouraged during my female times

I'm sitting here feeling crampy and kind of sad as I type this. I got up today and only did a small amount of yoga because I just feel so dang icky. I have very irregular menstrual cycle and I get very bad PMS that flows bad with my Bipolar. I get depressed even at the smallest of things. I just want to curl back into bed from the terrible cramps but I also want to go out with my boyfriend for a jog to enjoy this sunday.

I know I can do this. I just feel so blah right now.

Try the jog! I feel so bad right now too. Emotionally a mess and I feel like there is a ton of bricks inside me. I need to get back on track today or I'll feel even worse :( We can do it!

I believe in you! I can relate with being an emotional mess. I have a lot of stress and sadness on my plate today. I'm going to be trying to draw the energy within from a happy positive place to take this walk/jog to reconnect with that happy beautiful person I know I am. It can just be so hard when everything in your mind is telling you to run and hide from the world.

We can do this because we're strong.

It's completely normal to feel icky, even for people who don't have really bad period problems like you do.
Be nice to yourself, rest if you feel like it, but keep an eye on calories in (because that's mostly what causes weight loss).
If you can get out & walk around the block, that's a nice easy slow exercise that gets you some fresh air & sunshine, and those help with mood.

Sorry ypu feel icky. I'm right there with you.
I quit here only to come back.in a day all cause I felt blah and bloated and gross.
It's just once a month, we can deal with it and will make it through. :)

I 100% understand how you feel. I never feel like exercising during that time. Plus I always wanna eat like a whole pan of brownies! I try to keep myself on track, and you can only do the best you can do! Sometimes our bodies win.
  • Thank you all! Had a bit of an anxiety attack with my pms because I was trying to fit into my compression tights and they burst and broke..Thankfully my boyfriend helped me through it and now I'm headed on a walk.

Love all of you ladies and thank you.

Its okay. Everyone has a different cycle. Take this as a few rest days and use it as time to plan for after the pain is gone :)
