So, ive noticed when I go to log my workouts MFP estimates a lot higher than what my stationary bike is telling me I burned.
So how do I know if my bike is correctly tracking calories?
and how does MFP calculate the calories??? How do I know whats correct??

Neither are, thus most people only eat back half their exercise calories.0

Create your own exercise with the calories burned from your bike and eat back about half of those calories.0

Compare your weight lost to the calorie deficit you are recording and it will give you an idea of the accuracy of what is reported. But I would expect the number from the stationary bike to be more accurate, since it is possible to measure the actual work. The only inaccuracy would be in how efficient your body is while performing the work.0
