I'm 5'1," when I started out, my goal was 100 (from 122) and I'm now maintaining between 93-97. I think I'd like to stay here.

I'm 5 foot 1 inch. I used to weigh 255, but I've been working really hard to lose 100 pounds. Now that I'm getting close to that goal, I realize that's just not good enough. I want to weigh aprox. 135. I would be satisfied somewhere near that weight.0

I am at 5 ft maintaining at 115 lbs. There are going to be a lot varying weights for women at this height, and all of them may be healthy. Having a goal when you are not sure what will look good for you is fine, just don't get too hung up on the numbers.0

For those saying that we only need 1000-1200 calories, that is simply not the case. Please work out your TDEE, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you can eat.0 -
Im 5" and i would like to be either 115-120.i was 188 starting MFP and now i am 169.0

I agree. I can easily eat 1800 calories a day at the weight I am more or less maintaining.0 -
I am 5 feet tall and currently weigh 118. I started out at 196 wearing a 20wp. I am now in a 4 -6p but I am working toward a 2p so I am trying to lose the last 10 stubborn pounds. I am NOT satisfied 118.0

I am 5'3" if I stand up tall. I am 50 almost 51. My goal weight, at this moment, is 130 pounds. I started at 210 and am down 20 pounds. Only 60 more to go.0

I started at 135 and got down to 121, but after a minor surgery I am back up to 130. I want to go back to 121. It's a little frustrating to gain the weight back, but I have gained so much strength and cardio endurance. I didn't realize it until I took a break and then tried Insanity recently. I may never get back to 121, but I am proud of what else I've accomplished.
I wish you the best on your journey. Just remember that the scale is just a piece of getting healthy.
ETA: Oh yeah! I'm 5'0" also.0 -
I'm 5'1", I'll be turning 28 on Sunday. My goal weight is about 105... although right now I'm 112 and I'm really not upset about it. I was 115 while I was in the military and I think it was the best I've ever looked. I'm hoping that once my gym reopens, I'll start working out more and lose my tummy that way... It doesn't really matter what the scale says, as long I'm happy with what I see in the mirror. ;-)0

goal weight 110 or at the least 105
daily calorie intake as of recent 1350 or less, after recalculating things doing good ,lost 2 lbs this month and it wasn't water weight either has stayed off the entire month and I check my weight in the morning and the evening especially after meals with lots of sodium fluctuates a 0.5 lbs that's it.
Feeling great so far gone down 2 sizes so far and 3 in a skirt alone yay.0 -

130 for 5' is totally a realistic goal! I'm slightly under 5' and my goal is 125lbs - set up with the help of a nutritionist. On a 1200 calorie diet with tons of protein, whole grains and veggies, plus at least 1500 calories burned through exercise a week. Shockingly, I am pretty full if I eat all the right foods prescribed to me for the 1200 cal diet. Lost 7lbs already in four weeks. My nutritionist said in maintenance, as long as I keep up the exercise, my maintenance will be around 1500. Good luck!0 -

Hey shorties! I'm 5' and 124 right now, I would like to drop another 10.
I find it difficult reading all the "eat more than 1200 calories" posts, since we obviously do not fit the average. I am also just now facing the reality that I will always have to eat around 1200 just to maintain, at this height.

Hiya! A shortie here also! I am at 115 heading on down to 110, and most TDEE calcs put my maintenance at 1900. I currently eat about 1500 a day, and am still losing. So i don't know! I don't think you should necessarily have to stick to 1200 the rest of your life! When I made the jump from 1200 to 1500, I put on a couple pounds, but 2 weeks later, I started losing again, at the rate of about .75 pounds a week0 -

It's really interesting to see that there's such a range of goal weights amongst us!

Height - 5'1
SW - 182lb
CW - 140lb (I've been hovering around this for a while, following surgery earlier this year)
GW - 126lb - or thereabouts! Will review when I get there against other measure like BF% Hoping to reach GW by Christmas 2013!

My goal is 130 or 125. Since I'm in my 40s, I'm good with that. I don't plan to re-evaluate once I reach my goal. I was much smaller, 102 - 112, in my 20s but I'm not longing for the good ole days. :ohwell: :yawn:0 -

I'm 5 ft and would love to be at 115. I started at 155 in january and now I'm at 127. I also went from 30.5% bf to 23.5% and would love to be between 17 and 20% when all is said and done0 -

4' 9" and currently 162. It sucks being short because theres no place for it to go but out. While the charts say my ideal weight is 98 pounds (as if) my healthy weight is 115. I'll be happy with 120 at this point.0

SW:198 (when I started exercising on 2/17 and logging food on here/MFP on 2/21). But, MAY have been up as high as possibility 207 -209 Ibs last summer... However, my digital scale I soon realized was off by 2 Ibs (on the high end).... Thus, I use the starting weight of 197...

GW: 140 (first goal - weighed this when I got married almost 9 years ago -- pre-babies and 2 c-sections)
120 (2nd goal)
110 (3rd loose goal as that might be too low for me now since I haven't been that since my early 20's and my body has drastically changed since pregnancy and two c- sections).
