Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering....does anybody else NOT take a break during the week from working out? I just KNOW that if I take a break, 1 day is going to turn into 3 days and I'll lose my 'oomph' and motivation. Am I the only one who does this?

Depends on what you consider to be a break. I lift and run and will often go for a leisurely 3.5 mile walk on my "off" days. However if I'm feeling a bit beat up (and at 43 that happens more often than I'd like to think) then I just take a day off from any activity and rest.
If you don't feel you need it (and believe me you will know) then keep doing what you are doing.0 -
I get the same exact way... one rest day turns into two, etc.
I started a routine just last week and honestly, I just slammed all 4 of my workout days together. I'm doing the same thing this week. I alternate muscle groups so it's not too much on the body (I hope). Seems to be ok so far but like I mentioned, only on my second week.0 -
Well, I try to do cardio and strength training every day but today I couldn't do my strength training....my muscles are KILLING! But I most definitely did my cardio!!0
