'Tis the Season- For Unhealthy Eating

Last year, during the holiday season, I gained 10 pounds. I gained this weight because I ate unhealthy at every occasion at every chance. This ENTIRE year I have tried to lose those ten pounds. Now it is the eleventh month of this year, and I have FINALLY dropped 3-4 pounds of this weight. I have tried off and on all year - but never with very much consistency. Now that the holiday season is here, I can predict many buffets, treats at school, potlucks, and family dinners. Not to mention, I am a wonderful cookie baker, so I hope I won't be asked to use those skills for the holidays. This year, I am taking the pledge, to be aware and accountable for everything I eat and to moderately enjoy treats this holiday season. Does anyone else have trouble during the holidays? It just seems like a time to relax, drink, and enjoy food. This year I will enjoy the camaraderie and time off...not food!

Bingo!
Don't stress over it!
Relax, enjoy, and deal with any weight issues after the holiday. I am going to keep up with my exercise but will not stress over the calories. I will very much eat, drink booze, and be merry.0
