I'm trying to estimate how many calories I burned during an exercise class I went to today. I don't have a HRM, so I used http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc but it seems a little high?
The class is mostly focused on muscle exhaustion, so I used a combination of: "Calisthenics / exercise - vigorous" & "Lifting weights - vigorous" in the calculator and it gave me over 400 calories. It seems a little high - but does this make sense?
