fighting candy cravings

Oh great! I've not been exercising for a bit because I'm having some health problems, which get really worse after exercising and I lose a lot of weight if I do. I suspect a vitamin B12 deficiency (enlarged red blood cells, low storage iron and a few other things) though the doctor I went to first didn't do the right B12 tests and knows nothing about blood testing. Oh well... I only have a proper doctor's appointment early December and go on vacation this nearly until then.

Anyway, since I stopped exercising my craving for sweets has come back. I find that really annoying. I can eat masses of candy or a bag of crisps and still don't feel satisfied. When I exercise decently I'm happy with two small sweets in the evening. Plus I get very restless from not exercising (not that I really have the energy for it, but anyway). So I did a short HIIT workout yesterday and feel so much better: more relaxed, and I could ignore the cake in the canteen.

Anyway, as I've always had a problem with resisting sweets I wonder how to handle this. I should not exercise at the moment, but then I'm restless and eat too much sweets. Any suggestions?

Fill up on nutrient dense foods so you eat less candy.
Just because you want the candy doesn't mean you have to eat the candy!

Tell that to someone addicted to candy *sigh* The only thing that always worked is workout out thoroughly.

I got a wake up call.I am 3 points away from being pre diabetic. I am in great shape, my mom has it.If I wasnt doing what I am doing I would have it. I will fight this and limit all my sweets.

I'm not pre diabetic, fortunately. But I'll keep it in mind. Oh well.. it's vacation from Saturday and my doctor's appointment is a week after I'm back.

Eat it, just make sure it fits in your calories.
