Body fat calculations on scales?

I finished cancer treatment and my last surgery was in february. I gained some much needed weight, about 18lbs but it was all fat if you ask me. I want muscle. Since I've been able to start working out my weight has barely changed, (only dropped 3lbs), but I have lost some inches and you can clearly see more muscle definition everywhere. My strength has greatly increased as well. I am pretty happy with the results I'm seeing but my body fat percentage hasn't changed at all on my scale. I would expect to see some change if only a minor one. How accurate are they and anyone else with this issue?

Well that's good to hear. I asked at my gym but they don't do that unfortunately. It's a little depressing not seeing that number change. I don't care about my weight.

There are calculations based on body measurements. Here's 2 sites;

Thank you very much for those calculators. I feel that those results are a better estimation of my body fat then what my scale is saying.0
