I heard from fat2fitradio.com that a start of a goal weight would be a 25 BF.

Sorry, that's 25% BF, not BMI.
  • but how many pounds?

I'm 5ft 11 and I am aiming for 165. However I am 177 at the moment ad this is a healthy BMI ( just!)

This says that 176 is the top weight for your height. But, keep in mind this won't necessarily be right for you. If you are extra large framed that will mean you might have to be a tech higher, if you add to that that you have a lot of lean weight, then it's going to be higher still. The only way to really know if you have achieved a healthy body composition is to find out what your lean to fat ratio is. And conversely if you are very small framed or small framed you will want to aim for the lower end of the spectrum especially if you tend to not carry a lot of lean weight. Of course if you don't have much muscle lifting is about the only way to fix your body composition so you don't have to aim for that lower weight.
