Rock Climbers?

Hey everyone!

I recently gotten into bouldering and top rope at my local indoor climbing gym and LOVE IT. I'm so excited to be on the wall even though I'm totally the fattest lady there, ha. Anyway. I would love some more climbing friends here and also would love to know how you guys log it.

I mean I climbed for "a hour" today, but a lot of that hour was resting, getting water, staring at potential climbs, etc, so I put it down for 30 min, but even that was about 500 calorie burn! Does that seem right? It seems like too much to me? IDK. I'm not sure I'm really going to eat back a lot of my exercise calories anyway, but I'd like to eat to my BMR or whatever.

Thoughts?
