New to Exercising - Autistic, Hoping to Compete, Needing Friends

Hi. I am open to friends, open to ideas, and open to learning all I can. I am on the autistic spectrum and have no friends outside of forums, but I am pretty smart and funny I am told (although, I am not funny when I try). I am a good learner, but I struggle with so much conflicting information. I am intelligent, but socially very awkward (fortunately, you cannot tell on a forum).
Most of you are probably well read and know all the ins and outs of losing weight. My goal is to get some more body fat off and keep the muscle. I plan on tracking everything I eat like you probably do, already. I will start out keeping the calories equal to my BMR (basal metabolic rate) and eating a 45/35/20 split (protein/carb/fat). I am just learning about macros and TDEE. My goal is to get stronger and more coordinated, run a 5k and participate in a strength contest. Physical adaptations are extremely interesting, and I am trying to experience what it is like do more than make computer programs and analyze data for people.
I have been hitting the weights a lot, lately. I started 6 weeks ago with a trainer. He says I am pretty strong, already. I bench press 225 15 times for 5 sets. I squat 305 15 times for 5 sets, too. I like feeling stronger. I also do cardio: walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes each day at a 15% grade at 2.6-3.0 miles per hour (20:00 min/mile pace).
Doing cardio, first, makes me weaker when I lift, so I do it after. I am losing fat. It is hard work, but I read a sign the other day that said if good luck comes to those who work hard, so I will work hard and maybe be lucky enough to compete. Working out has helped me not feel so sad. I like watching the people at the gym. I wear my headphones to keep down the noise.
Befriend me if you do not mind. I like to receive likes and I like to like people's accomplishments. It makes them feel good, and I like to feel good, too.
