    You shouldn't make everything in the kid's life easy and it's ok for them to make mistakes

    Would you have an elective surgery that would improve quality of life by a large percentage if successful, but the possibility of dying while on the table was just as high?

    I'd research other options, if the possibilities of dying were just as high if put my families welfare first and pass on the operation.

    If you were 100% sure you were content with 2 children and you were close to 30 yrs old would u get fixed or wait a few more years for that decision?

    I would discuss any sterilization with my spouse, but I had two more kids after I was content with two.... so your mileage may vary!
