logging Exercises...

I tried to look up and enter house cleaning and stair climbing and its not in MFP.. am i missing something? Help.... :s I know that should be an extra 200 calories burned a day!!

    For cleaning, just type "Cleaning". 2 options will pop up.
    For Stiars, just type "stairs". 3 options will pop up.

    200 calories??? I would find that doubtful to be honest

    Be careful because MFPs estimates can be way over and most advise to eat back only 50 - 75% and reassess if not working for you

    to put it in some kind of perspective it takes me 20 mins at 7KMH at heavy resistance (16 out of 25) on an elliptical trainer with my heart rate at around 150 to earn 200 calories. I doubt I could do that cleaning, possibly stair running if I kept it up for an extended time with great effort

    It sounds as though you work as a cleaner. Presuming you do this five days a week, you could just up your activity level..?

    It takes me two miles of 10 mph running to burn 200 calories. Or 20+ minutes on the exercise bike at a pretty heavy intensity. It seems to me like house cleaning might not burn up as much as you might think.
