Well goodbye 40lbs!

Hello! I'm Stacy and I'm 30 years old. A few weeks ago my work was offering a free biometrics screening where some nurses came in and did some measurements and poked my finger for some blood testing. And while all my blood tests were good (not on the track to get diabetes - whew!) my measurements were not. I'm carrying a lot of weight in my midsection the nurse told me and I need to loose about 40 lbs.

Now like I said, this was a couple of weeks ago - and have I done anything about it? Nope! So that's why I'm here now! I need some motivation and a partner or perhaps small group to challenge me!

The nurse suggested I need more exercise. That I should be active for 30 minutes a day and that my activity should make me sweat!

So here I am. The first step to taking ownership of my health. Next step, actually do something! If anyone would like to join me along the way, friendly competition or just cheer each other on, give me a shout!
