Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I'm not 36 like my profile says; I'm probably one of the younger members on here... Anyway, my main goal was to maintain my weight(I have a BMI of about 24) but I gained a few pounds over the summer and fall, and that is a no no considering how I wear my jeans kinda tight even at a decent weight. So I'm trying to calorie count and loose 5 pounds in a few weeks, but I'm really disappointed because I have not calorie counted in years. Especially with Thanksgiving coming up, it's hard to know an accurate amount of calories are in food, and the selection of food on Thanksgiving... gee whiz. I also can't stand when my family members act like I'm anorexic because I'm calorie counting and not overweight. Does anyone else find that crap annoying? It's not like I have an eating disorder where I see myself as overweight, I just want to fit a teensy bit better in my jeans and on from there I will MAINTAIN.
Sorry, this was more of a rant than an introduction.
Anyhow,
