I'm taking a break from fitbit for awhile and letting my phone and it's little co processor replace it. I tried argus and it seems pretty accurate as far as calorie burn but I'm not a big fan of the layout. Is there anything else worth trying? Something that'll count my steps and similar to fitbit, use it to calculate my daily tdee?

May I ask why you're taking a break (knowing its none of my business)
  • I had the Fitbit one and liked it but hated wearing the clip cause it would always rub up against something. Then I got the Fitbit flex thinking it would solve that problem but after $100 evaporated out of my wallet I realized I didn't like wearing that either. So now I'm going tracker free for awhile and only using my phone to count steps. Seems to be just as accurate as my old fitbit one and even the Fitbit app itself works with my iPhone 6's motion co processor.

I used Pacer for a while, before I got a Withings O2 Pulse. It was okay, pretty accurate. When I used them both my daily steps were usually within 5% of each other when comparing the two devices.
