Ok so I recently discovered this while messing around with coffee, ice cubes, and the blender.

I took some ice and coffee and blended it, I swear it turned into a frappucino-type thing even though there was no milk or anything! But it looked and tasted so amazingly creamy as if there was milk!!

So you basically just take
-1/2 cup strong coffee
-1 cup ice cubes
-sweetener if you like, and then you could also use some milk or syrup etc. but be sure to add the calories. Make sure you add these in BEFORE you blend.

Throw it all in the blender and blend until totally combined and enjoy! You might have to scrape down the blender a bit, or if it's too thick add tiny amounts of coffee/water until it's the desired consistency. This has to be done pretty quick or the ice will melt!

It's about 10 calories, depending on the coffee blend. I put about a tablespoon of caramel syrup in mine, which added about 10 more. This is a really yummy drink! I plan on trying this with coconut milk next time

ENJOY! :D

Edit: I decided to google this and it turns out it already exists under the name of a "blendicano", so I don't feel like a genius anymore hahah

Another tip? Pour the coffee into ice cube trays and freeze it, then blend the coffee ice-cubes. This way, the ice doesn't dilute the coffee flavor.

I worked at Starbucks for 3 years and that is where I lost my first 80lbs. A normal frap has a syrup gum added to it to hold it together and then more calories from sugars then you even want to pretend to count. I would make mine with water instead of milk and sugar free syrups. Occasionally I would put a banana into it just to make it stick together and be thicker! It added sweetness if I did just coffee with no syrups.

Yours is a very good recipe! :) I might try it.

You can also add your protein powder (I use chocolate) or Shakology (if you have some) and toss it in. I do that and it's awesome. All natural and no sugar :)
