You've done such a great job! Keep doing what you are doing.
Also, at the last photo you posted, I was thinking... "Bond. James Bond."
    Congrats!

Thanks ... I'm not sure which I was more excited about ... reaching my 25th, or returning to wedding weight just ahead of it. But if my wife asks, make sure to tell her I said that the 25th was the greater milestone, otherwise I might not survive to see the 30th.

Thanks folks. An update to my story. I started 2014 with significant knee pain and problems, including difficulty walking stairs. I realized this week that I'm now walking up the stairs two at a time, hands free. Last year I practically had to grasp the rail and pull myself up.

Thanks! Yes, being out of work was definitely a distraction, and starting a new job had the potential to throw me off track, but I stuck with it. 2014 turned out to be a very good year!

Honestly amazing! You should be so proud of your achievement! I worked in orthopaedics for 4 months and will do another 4 months next year and so many patients don't realise the impact their weight has on their joints :)

In my 30s, when I weighed in the 220s, my doctor said "if you don't lose weight soon, when you hit your 40s or 50s, you're going to have lots of knee problems." If only I had acted sooner. Thankfully, with the weight loss, my knees are much happier now. I'll probably still need surgery when I hit 60, but that's better than at 50.

Don't look at what/should of done! Look at what you have done, you have done amazingly... You look fantastic, well done with your journey an I wish you all the best ahead of what the rest consists of!!

Thanks! A big part has been friends who have been there to support me throughout, and occasionally, when needed, to give me a good kicking to keep going.
