Winter months are coming and I am really into strength training/toning and in order to keep me going during these cold cold days does anyone have any suggestions with free weights or anything I can do at home so on days I cannot get to gym I can keep the process going. I was looking at the Chalene Extreme or maybe the no more trouble zone dvd but never used either. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am open to any help. Thanks.

    You might like Fitnessblender.com
They have a huge variety of workouts, some free workout plans and then workout plans you can buy (very cheaply, around 9 dollars I think). I'm currently doing the 5 Day workout challenge for busy people, which consists of a 30 minute workout a day including warm up and cool down. There is a normal 5 day plan and the workouts are a bit longer. These are both free on fitnessblender.com

You can find all sorts of stuff on youtube. Fitnessblender is good. I'm going through Jillian Michaels 30 day shred at the moment. There are alot of other videos from her on youtube too. Lean machines can be found there too. You don't really need to buy any dvds, actually.

Since I started with videos on youtube, I haven't been back to the gym. Combined with the cardio I do outside it is much more effective for me. Thus next year I'm going to save that money....or spend it on something else ;-)

I'm going into the last week of Body Beast and have really enjoyed it, not to mention have got some great results. I've done quite a few of the Beachbody programs but this one by far has been my favorite.
