Not so new

Hello all. My name is Andie and I am not so new. I uploaded this app on my iphone about 4 months ago to help me count calories and I absolutely LOVE it! Did I really lose any weight....yeah...not really. However, we recently had a walking challenge at work and I have now incorporated walking into my daily routine. I still have not lost one pound, and I walked 30 miles last week at a 15 minute mile!! I did read on the forums that I need to up my calories and I have more than done that the last two days (ouch)
I have four beautiful children, the youngest whom are twins. I am actually currently closer to the weight I was when I gave birth to my first child than I am to when i graduated high school (icky) I have a desk job which doesn't help and with four kids we are so busy that we eat more fast food than we should.
I am doing this though! The goal is high school skinny! (OK plus 10 lbs cuz we need to be realistic at this point and I would just look like I had an eating disorder if I lost that much) I am hoping with these forums, the support of my co worker who still walks with me everyday, and my desire to not look like Buddah anymore that I will finally be able to lose the 30 lbs that has been plaguing the last decade of my life.
PS - My oldest son runs cross country and track and is phenomenal which is why I chose him as my ticker...to inspire his chunky momma.

Hi Andie! You can totally do this! I love this website! It's sort of a pain in the butt at first to log everything, until you get into the routine. You're accountable for all you eat and exercise. Seeing the numbers right there in front of me seems to be working for me. My goal is to lose 30 pounds as well and I've lost 10 so far in the 2 months that I've been on this site. Don't get discouraged and keep trying your best. It won't happen over night, but then again it took time to gain the weight, so just be patient. You'll do just great...it sounds like you have a lot of support with your coworker and son doing cross country and track.
Good luck to you and have fun!!!
