I was told I need to eat 2307 calories to gain a pound of muscle, if I set my goals to 2307 it's says I would loose weight, is that too low calories amount to should i stay at 2771 a day.

Eating isn't going to help you gain muscle by itself. Eating at a calorie surplus combined with weight training will cause you to gain muscle along with fat.

I agree. Food can go to fat by default but it has never be the other way around in my case unless I was putting physical demands on muscles to develop more.0
