30 day shred: can I count it as strength training?

Currently I do 30 day shred 3 times a week (or I do a very similar circuit of interval training) along with a few days of pure cardio. My question is: can I count 30 day shred as strength training? I'm not looking to bulk up, I just know that strength training is just as important as cardio for a well-rounded workout routine and weight loss. What do you think? Can I count 30 day shred as my strength training?

IMO no... 3-5 pound weights really don't cut it. I mean, it's a start, but even bodyweight exercises would be better.

    It's cardio/endurance-based training.

No i count it as a circuit training
  • I agree with hotasfire36. I think circuit training would we the correct way to log 30ds. May not be lifting but I think it still great plus if you enjoy it then why not.

For the first 30 days, that would probably be reasonable. If you are actually interested i strength training, you should find a more challenging program.
