Are there any lawyers in the house?

Unless you go to night school it will be three years of your life.
The first year, they scare you to death.
The second year they work you to death.
The thrid year they bore you to death.
No kidding. And for the privilege of attending law school you will probably owe over $200,000 in student loans. But that's not all. You still won't be an attorney. You'll have to spend all summer studying to take the bar. Then, you'll take the two-day test. Both the prep courses and the test will cost you. After three or four months you'll find out if you passed the bar. Then, and only then, you can call yourself and attorney.
And you still won't have much in the way of practical knowledge or experience to serve clients.0 -

I loved law school. I studied and played hard throughout, did well, and graduated with a great job. That said, I strongly recommend against law school as the profession is going through a major realignment right now. If you do attend, then make sure you only go if you get into a top school, you work hard to graduate high in your class, and you pick a job in an area with real growth potential. Oh, and pay off your student loans as fast as you can.0
