Two weeks post partum!

Well I just had my second child, Elliott, on May 13th and I am ready to get this, and Emma's weight off my body! I have generally run around 170-200 pounds most of my adult life. Back in 2010 I lost 30# using the LoseIt! app and encouragement from a reproductive specialist. I was never fully diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) however after the weight loss I got pregnant with my Emma. I gained approximately 50# with her, going from 184-225. With Elliott I started at 200 and gained 35# so I suppose I did a little better with my weight gain the second time.
In the past nearly two years I have been a SAHM and MSN-Ed student. I graduated with my degree two weeks before Elliott was born. In this time I also found a passion for cooking which has helped immensely with my eating habits. I am back to cooking this week and tonight we are having lima beans (they came in my produce box delivery) and sauteed corn with a simple sauteed salmon. My husband is in much better shape than I am currently, so I find catching back up to him very motivating! (We lost weight together back in 2010 after he was taken off prednisone for celiac and ulcerative proctitis and started on an immunosuppressant).
Working with a friend now as well who still has some baby weight to lose too.
Hope everyone is motivated and doing well!
