    Plus, Tony Stark is too cocky and unstable (drinking, etc.) to take it serious; he'd just show up as-is without preparation thinking he'll win hands-down. Plus, he absolutely sucks at fighting and strategy. Captain America has taken Iron Man down a peg on multiple occasions, including the Extremis-enhanced Civil War version.

    This seems right.

    With a month to prepare Batman would find someway to nullify the arc reactor and then Tony would end up like this:

    Could Tony eventually get out? Yes. But in the meantime, Batman has considered Tony's next move and created appropriate counter-measures.

    I like them both, I just think the above assessment of Tony's personality is right.
