Leg Day

Morning all,

I'm looking for some inspiration to work my pins through heavy lifting (I am already doing a heavy lifting programme comprising of 6 compound moves). However in the near future I would like to intensify it and one area I would particularly like to focus on is legs and glutes...

What do you do on leg day?

    Here is what I do -

    1a. Squats
    1b. Leg Curls

    2a. Reverse Sled Drag (4 meters) - I use reverse cross-trainer at max level when the gym gets too busy which is often on the times that I go
    2b. Dumbell step-ups x15

    1 and 2 are supersets. For Squats and Curls, Idea is to alternate between low rep/more sets vs high rep/fewer sets every 3-4 weeks and perhaps add other exercises as leg press etc. to avoid plateau.

    Forgot to add - I do at least 4 sets of all exercises mentioned.

    My leg day consists of
    *Squats 3 sets of 10-12
    *Deadlifts 3 sets of 10-12
    *Kickbacks on the machine 3 sets of 10-12

    Some days I do lunges with weights and I will use the assisted pull up bar machine, but instead I press my foot down where your knees would usually go.

    Squats - 4 sets
    Deadlifts - 4 sets
    Good Mornings -3 sets
    Lunges - 3 sets
    Calf Extension - 3 sets
    Leg Press - 3 sets
    Leg Extension - 3 sets
