Best way to tone body?

Hi guys! I'm starting to wonder about what workout program (I don't belong to a gym right now) is best for toning my body once I reach my goal weight. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!!

I'm no expert, but I'd recommend lifting some weights. I started out November 2012, and have seen great results. I don't belong to a gym either, but I invested in a barbell and dumbbell to use at home.0
