Hi everyone. I'm new to MFP. Happy with the progress i'm making since i joined, but wanting support and encouragement.

I suffer from iron deficiency anemia issues (from chronic blood loss problems) and hypothyroidism. Looking for support from those who understand how hard regular exercise is when energy levels are down/extreme fatigue/low hemoglobin and can sympathize and relate.

I try to go to Curves 3 times a week and my job is somewhat active (busy spa with lots of stairs). I try to eat healthy, but MFP is showing me that i tend to go over on my fats, proteins, and sugar goals. I don't usually hit my carb goals but this is because i recently cut out gluten as i suspect it was giving me problems.

My food diary is open and i welcome any suggestions you would have that would help me get closer to my goals. (to gain muscle mass, lose bodyfat, and improve my metabolism and energy levels)

I'm 5'8", 148lbs today (lowest i've been in 6 months! yay!) and approx 28% body fat (i have a scale but i don't know how accurate it is and it varies greatly from 26%-30% bodyfat readings depending on how hydrated i am). I'd like to get that % down closer to 20%, and i don't care too much how much i weigh... but my abdomen must get smaller as it is at 37 inches presently. I know abdominal fat is the most dangerous place to carry it, so this is for health reasons, not an image thing. I'm 33 years old and comfortable with who i am.

People tell me i look fine and i don't need to lose any weight, but i don't feel fine... i feel very out of shape and tired a lot. I'm pretty sure i'm what many would call 'skinny fat'.... well maybe not cause i'm not exactly skinny... hahah, more like 'normal range BMI fat'
