Lift weights and do daily body weight workouts. You can't afford to lose more weight, but you can change how it's packaged. Weighted squats and lunges, lots of core work (planks, wall stands, abdominal work) will help tighten up what you're working with. Or, buy the spanx. Good luck and enjoy the upcoming festivities!!0

It is standard for seamstresses to do alterations in the weeks running up to the wedding
get them to adjust the dress to fit you perfectly and have a wonderful wedding day

uh...no, it is not STANDARD for seamstresses to do alterations in the weeks running up to the wedding or adjusting the dress to fit perfectly when it was CUSTOM MADE to start with... I used to own an alterations shop specializing in bridal and to think that a seamstress is sitting around just waiting to refit a dress that was already fitted is incorrect... just want to clarify that. If the dress fit when it was picked up and then there was a weight gain or loss that affects the fit, you better be prepared to pay big $$ for last minute alterations. This is very frustrating for the person doing the alterations... you can do just so much... just sayin'
I vote for the spanx...0 -
Thank you everyone, you all have been most helpful. I will take the advice provided here and let you know how it went four weeks later.
