turning 45, salt and sugar and feeling fat

I have been stuck in a plateau for over 90 days now, up and down the same pound or two. I had noticed my body size was smaller, and I was excited to go shopping last weekend. Oh boy, not a good idea. I now have 3 shirts and 2 skirts to return, to 3 different stores because they are too small. I tried the large size on, but it was too big. I thought. Guess not.
I feel so fat right now. I am trying to figure out why I am struggling mentally right now and I have to wonder if turning 45 in just a few days is adding to it. I basically want to spend the next few days eating fudge and sea salt crackers. I ate a very healthy dinner (lunch and breakfast too) tonight, to make calorie room in my day for fudge. Grilled chicken, carrots, hummus, tomatoes and cucumbers.
Sooo... my MFP family have any of you ladies had the same issue turning 45? I just feel frustrated, I try so hard to lose weight trading my foods around to make room in my calories for what I want. But this week I am not seeing the progress. I am seeing a long road of frustration and limits.
Sorry to be a downer, this is not like me. I will return the clothes this weekend, and make sure I get nice stuff that fits. I need to feel some more motivation to continue this.

I am turning 45 in 3 months, I am okay with it.
It took me almost 5 years to get the body I have today, so please do not sweat 90 days. I did it by cutting out one or two things at a time then on year two I started exercising on a regular basis which propelled me into an appropriate weight and body fat range. I was trying to get off that last 5 and found that I needed to up my calorie goal, I did and I lost the weight. I also transitioned into clean eating after being diagnosed with an auto immune disease, it lowered my pain levels and made a major difference in the way I look and feel.
This truly needs to be a lifestyle change, not a diet. Your beautiful body is going to come one good choice at a time, 95% of the time.
If a person lives to the age of 65, they typically live to be in their 80s. The choices we make today are what provides us with a good quality of life or we stay sick and bed ridden. I, for one, wanna be on the side of a mountain when I am 80, not sitting in the dr office.
This wonderful life is waiting on you, all it takes is the next right choice.0
