    Start with the classics, the original Night of the Living Dead. I'm a bit of a zombie snob so I wouldn't touch any of the Return of the Living Dead movies because ZOMBIES DON'T F'ING TALK AND THEY SURE AS HELL CAN'T BECOME INFECTED AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN DEAD AND BURIED FOR YEARS!

    Also would recommend reading Max Brooks Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z (don't watch the movie after reading the book, you'll be very disappointed).

    Still start with the original Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead (remake) is pretty good too, the first few Resident Evil movies are good (they started going down hill around 3 I think), Shawn of the Dead is a good zombie comedy as is Zombieland and Fido. The Evil Dead movies really aren't zombie movies (in my zombie snob opinion) but still a great watch (the originals at least, didn't really care for the one that just came out).

    I was never into zombies either... until I started watching The Walking Dead. Hooked from the first episode of the first season.

    Talking Dead is just fan talk after the show.

    Shaun of the Dead is funny and so is Zombieland.

    I didn't like the zombies in World War Z - zombies shouldn't be that fast!
