Hey, just wondering if anyone else gets stuck and can't lose while you're stressed. If so, any ideas on what to do to overcome it?

Sure, but because I'm stressed and eating too much.0

I was stressing myself out over alot of things at work and at home, having a bad time at the moment feeling rather alone even sat in a room with people and I work myself up about it.
What I find helps me is to try and let go, put my headphones in and go for a run, it actually helps me look forward to my next cardio session be it cycling or running as I feel free and relieved of the everyday stresses.
Hope this helps.0 -
Stress doesn't cause weight gain. If it did, I'd weigh 300lb. You already know that it's eating that causes weight gain, or lack of weight loss.
You don't log your food. Can't help without some data.

Mine happened in reverse. I was moving last May and still trying to work out. I was stressed at work as well (too many things on my plate). I actually lost about 6 pounds but those crept back up around August and were lost again by late October. Our bodies respond to stress, lack of sleep, etc. We just have to stay on top of it.0

Meditation. Just giving yourself 15 minutes a day to sit quietly and concentrate on nothing but your breathing and your blood flowing. Some people use mantras or prayers repeated over and over again to clear the mind but i find simply concentrating on deep breathes also works.0

No, I took some time off of logging because It started stressing me out as well. Once I did that, my weight started to move again, but then more stress piled on and it stopped again. I was trying to do some research about why you can't lose weight when stressed, but it was getting too scientific for me. I know That it can cause issues though.
Thanks for the suggestions! I have been running actually - Well, doing the c25k program. It feels great while I'm doing it, but getting myself out the door has been mentally difficult because of how tired I am. But I've managed to get out between 3-4 times a week. Hopefully this passes. I will keep praying through it. Thanks for the support!0
