Factoring in calories burned from breastfeeding?

I'm currently breastfeeding, and as I understand it, it burns between 300 and 500 calories per day. I may have asked in the wrong forum, but does this count for calorie burn even though I don't think it's technically exercise?

I believe you can enter it in under food and it will give you a negative amount. How much of an adjustment depends on what you are comfortable with, and how often you are nursing. Infants who nurse round the clock will fall on the higher side of that number. Toddlers with other solid foods will be lower.0

Yeah, I'm probably on the lower end of that, because he is older.0
