That is quite a bummer. I do love me some Lindt chocolates...
  • They also have apple crumble, strawberry cheesecake and chocolate brownie flavours in this range. Not sure I want to try them after tasting this one.

I'll stick to the normal thin ones next time I think...I do love the salted caramel one a lot...

My daughter had the strawberry shortcake one and it tasted very "chemically"

This one tastes like that too...it tastes "box-y" lol. Not that I would know what box taste like but you get the idea.

I haven't seen that before, they probably don't sell it here in the States. Is it supposed to be low calorie or sugar-free? That's the only time I've really had sweets that taste "chemical-y".

No it's not... its just normal chocolate. This is milk chocolate though... I'm used to Lindt making dark chocolate. Might be that? Not sure. Maybe my taste got used to the dark vs the milk.

I've bought them in Giant & now Wal-Mart is carrying them. You can probably look on their website & see which stores are selling it near you.

I've tried the Brownie one & it was pretty decent.

I've tried all four. They all taste very chemical-y, except for the brownie one. It's the only one that tastes decent, but it isn't anything to rave about either. I'd rather stick to their 60% dark truffles.

I had the cookies and cream one, and it wasn't bad but wasn't amazing. It's like they've cheaped out on it, Lindt is usually a fav of mine, though I agree I generally eat the dark..

I actually really liked this bar. The creme brulee lindt bar is better though.
  • I've been eyeing these off for ages. Good to know opinions. I think I'll stick to Cadbury.

My new chocolate of choice at the moment is Trader Joe's cookie butter cups.

You people & your cookie butter. I might have to check where the nearest Trader Joe's is & buy the Cookie Butter ice cream, those cups you just mentioned, & the cheesecake.

I liked the brownie one. But I'm not nearly as picky about my chocolate as I am about my ice cream/gelato/baked goods.

I had the bar-- it was delicious but I think I preferred the ice cream.
