Hi,

I've heard SO many great things about NROLFW. However, I have no access to a gym; just hand weights. Do they have programs in this book just for hand weights/dumbbells?

You mean 5 lb. dumbbells? No.

No, if you have 10 - 50 lb. dumbbells, you could probably make that work for awhile.

Since something is better than nothing I would suggest you look into one of the following programs:
-The College Dorm Workout (excellent use of dumbbells, but you will have to get heavier ones eventually)
-You Are Your Own Gym/ Body by You (both by Mark Lauren, Body by You has a slower progression, so that you increase in baby steps)

How heavy/how many sets of dumbbells do you have? I think there are some modifications for working out at home in there, but really...no.

Depending on how heavy your dumbbells go (or if you have the ones that use plates), you can find variations of barbell exercises.

ETA: LOL. It's not spam. If you notice the url name, it has MFP in it. Holy flag happy people.

Get the dumbells with interchangeable plates so you can load up the weight. You will still need a bench.

You can even use a couch if you have to, but a bench is better. The only thing you can't do with dumbbells is a pullup. Hence the small industry of pullup bar attachments... and the wasteland of wrecked doorframes they've left behind!

I second acpgee's suggestion for loose plates and dumbbell handles.
