Unfortunately for me, I live in a very hot place where it´s impossible to sleep with the windows closed 8-9 months of the year and the streets lights are very intense. Could an eye mask help this?.

Yes. Probably. Also turn off blue screens (computers, tv) by 9:00 pm if you can.
I believe that orange light (blocks blue light) will work-- like brown or orange or rose colored glasses.
