Cravings.

I know everyone has cravings and I'm pretty good at letting it go and eating an apple instead of some ice cream but for the past week I've been craving oreos and I'm so close to giving in and eating them! Thanksgiving is so close and I know I'll get to eat sweets then but I was wondering what everyone else does when a craving doesn't seem to go away? Like is there any way to avoid this?

Chewing gum has been a great help for me, at least for all the short cravings. If they last any longer than one or two days, I usually give in. But I try to plan the rest of my calories around it so that my day isn't completely ruined lol.

I get a small portion and enjoy it!

Sometimes it's probably best not to completely cut off foods you used to eat, ju st eat them in moderation.

Have one oreo or two, and then put them back into the cupboard. Alternatively, eat some sweet fruit like mango or a pineapple.
  • I like to eat 1 Hershey's special dark nugget a little after lunch. It's only 45 calories and it seems to reduce cravings.
