I went to trader joes and bought their pre-sliced Swiss cheese. Serving size is stated as 1 slice/ 1 oz or 28 grams for 110 calories and 9 grams of protein. I like full fat cheese so I thought that was reasonable and the slices looked hearty! So I come home and I weigh it to make a sandwich...one slice is 45 grams! No, there wasn't two stuck together, and most of them ranged from 40-45 grams! So my slice of cheese on my sandwich was 177 calories. Granted it was worth it but I'm just shocked there's such a massive difference! If you logged two at what they stated without weighing that's 120+ calories extra! I'm just a little shocked lol thanks for listening!

That's exactly why I weigh things. I am with you...I prefer "regular" cheese (European cheeses are the best!). I'd much rather have half an ounce of a good Irish cheddar than twice as much rubbery low fat cheese any day.
