Losing weight for powerlifting competition

Hi all, I need to drop about 3 or 4lbs before next Sunday for powerlifting meet. Any tips? Thanks!

    drink a ton of water everyday! And you might drop that much in water weight.

    Agree with reducing carbs. Also monitor your sodium to keep water retention to a minimal.
    I'm assuming this is to make weight for your class?

    Unless you can realistically break records or accomplish a competitve goal that is important to you, it is silly to manipulate water weight for a meet.

    Dehydration and low carbs until you make weight, then stuff your face.

    But seconding what whodidntante said, it's not advisable to stress your body like that unless it's for a major goal.

    Try working on your body-weight goals further out so you don't have to do anything drastic at the last minute. Try managing your carbs until weigh-in but don't do anything crazy or you won't perform.
