Does anyone use spreadsheets to help them chart weight loss and work out their calories for the day? How about calculating workouts or targets? Excel or Google Sheets?

    Yes.

Do you need help with a formula?

The Hackers diet is a document about using spreadsheets to help with weight loss. You can get a copy here: https://www.fourmilab.ch/hackdiet/

Not anything specific, I have a nice spreadsheet going. Just wondered if anyone has anything they've made and found useful that they'd like to share.

Commenting so I can find this when not at work where everything is blocked.
Used to keep spreadsheets when I started. Now I just live it. If I think I need to adjust something, I do.

I've been using a Google Sheet to work out my daily calories for ADF and finally have it all working off a single formula which calculates my TDEE (based on age, weight, height, and activity factor) *125% or *25% depending on whether it's a feast or fast day. Spending time refining the formula has been a most unexpected perk of the process!

My weight loss spreadsheet, after filling in the Simple Setup tab, if you go to the TDEE Deficit tab near the bottom, you'll find the 5:2 diet arrangement with suggestion on what to do in MFP for the day of the low eating.

And I must say, the new forum feature to catch a post reference is nice.
