Hello everyone, I joined a few days ago and I am very excited. I finally putting myself first and have decided to take some weight off. I need to lose 50 to 100 lbs. I joined the gym a year ago and I am working out at least three to five times a week.

That is great. But in your quest, your diet is going to be the biggest determining factor here

Congrats and welcome. And like stated above, diet is key in this journey.

It's definitely a mental and physical challenge. Work hard at it and keep focused on the goal. The change will eventually get easier. Nothing beats the pride you get from earning something great through hard work and dedication. Its worth every sacrifice, ache, pain, and drop of sweat because your worth way more than that! Never give up on yourself!

80% diet but exercise has all sorts of benefits besides supplementing weight loss so keep it up.

Exercise is great for you in so many ways but remember, you can't out-exercise a bad diet. To lose weight, you really want to focus on calories in vs. calories out. You have to eat less than you burn to shed pounds.

    Best wishes!
