Or you could eat normal, so you potentially don't binge as much as you would if you haven't eaten properly in the last 24 hours.
You could also do some research and realize that one bad day isn't going to make you permanently gain weight, it's eating too many calories every single day that leads to that.
Also, don't troll.0 -
I plan on eating normally. Might have some extra turkey and a dessert, but that's about it.0

THIS.
Don't starve yourself the day before because you increase your risk of binging when you do eat. Just eat normally and enjoy the holiday. One day of overeating won't make you gain permanently.

You can't gain weight from ONE bad day. You didn't gain the weight from ONE bad day. It takes several bad days over a period of time.
Eat what you want and get back to it the next day.0 -
I will be eating as I normally would the day before and the day after Thanksgiving (unless I have leftovers, in which case I'll be eating more than normal the day after). I don't get why people freak out over one day. One day of indulgence will NOT ruin months of hard work. Instead of obsessing over calories and weight, spend Thanksgiving with your friends and/or family, be present, and enjoy yourself. There are only a few holidays each year - enjoy them and live your life. Then, get right back on track the next day. There's no need to "make up for it" by eating very little. That's just asking for a binge.0

^^This.
You're not going to gain "weight" in a day..... Remember, it takes 3500 calories...over maintenance to put on one lb of fat.
If you gain noticeable weight on Thanksgiving, it will be mainly water weight. I gained 8lbs over a 7 day vacation and lost it all within 4 days of being back to normal.0 -
how much are you planning on eating?!0

I suggest starving yourself for weeks prior. Really makes the rib cage "pop".0

Another vote for eating as you normally would. I'll stick to my usual calorie goal for the rest of the week, and on Thanksgiving (or any other holiday/special occasion) I just try to stay mindful of my portions and eat what I want. I think I consumed about 2700 calories last Thanksgiving. No biggie. Relax, enjoy the day, and get back to your regularly schedule programming the day after.0

Eat just like you normally would. One "bad" day won't make you fat, just like one "good" day won't make you skinny.0

it's only a roast dinner
turkey is great for you
budget a little extra during the week each day leading up to it .. maybe exercise more but don't eat your calories back

Eat fewer, but not drastically. Don't fast or eat right next to nothing, or you'll go crazy and binge on Thanksgiving. Just fill up the day before using vegetables, salad, fruit, and lean protein.0

Ok thanks0

Yeah, this^^
Also, if you're really concerned with it, try upping your exercise just a bit to help compensate for the extra calories.0
