Wondering if anyone is logging food tomorrow? I am. Always wondered how many calories are eaten at Thanksgiving.

Honestly, probably not. Since I am not cooking it, there's no way to know whether my corn/carrots/potatoes/stuffing has 1tbls butter/oil or a whole cup. Not to mention the deep fried turkey, and desserts. Literally nothing at our Thanksgiving is low-cal enough to fill up on lol.
So I will eat in moderation, drink plenty of water, and try to balance it with a workout.0 -

I will do none of these things

I'm not going to bother. Too much work since I'm not making any of the food. I'll be at my parents house, and they have a fancy elliptical so I'll probably just try to get there before everyone else and steal an hour or so on it so I don't feel as bad.0

I'll log breakfast...0
-
im not going to bother, though i hope to hit at least 5000 cals.0

I'm cooking the meal so I know there'll be some substitutions, I'll log to the best of my abilities, and make sure I have a run in during the day. But other than that, I'm not going to stress out.0

Yes of course. It's just a normal day.0

This "blessing in disguise" may sound crazy, but luckily, I'm not able to eat too much without stomach upset (gallbladder disease ) I'll be able to have a tablespoon of this and that, but not too much or it's "emergency room" for me. However, being able to see my grandchildren enjoy the goodies is satisfaction enough for me now.0

Just crush it. One day won't kill you.0

not cooking so not logging but I will eat in moderation and work out0

I'll log my breakfast for sure and "try" to log the rest of the day, but don't count on it lol0

I'm not logging anything. My fiancée and I are staying at a casino resort and they have an amazing buffet. I am always really good during the week so I'm not worried about it at all. It's a holiday and I want to enjoy it!!!0

Yes, because the reality is I AM consuming food.
Posting 2,200 calories (rough estimate) , so my weekly reports will be somewhat accurate.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!0 -
I'm making the stuffing, a pumpkin and an apple pie, all homemade. I know what's going into all of them, I ain't eating it!! LMAO not that I'm poisoning the family, it's that it is all fat and carbs, I use heavy cream, lard, butter, flour and the stuffing is made with pork sausage and italian bread loaves... I am logging, my meal is already done, I have a half a yam and green beans to go with the turkey0

I'm not logging in real time, but when I wake up Friday morning I will guesstimate log as best I can. Just to have an idea of my weekly totals. I'm not going to sweat it, but I think it's a good exercise to remind yourself just how much damage you can do when there is pie and wine involved!0

I will be logging but I have no idea how accurate it will be as I will not be weighing anything...I hope to hit 6000 calories but we will see...0
-
I'm logging, actually started pre logging now... in a challenge to be over 6000 calories tomorrow... right now coming in around 4500 without any wine or kahlua0

sounds boring ..
thanksgiving is one day out of 365 which is .0027% of the year...you are saying you can't indulge one day out of the year, really?????0 -
I'm cooking and logging.0

I'm going out to dinner tomorrow for Thanksgiving, so I won't be able to know exactly how many calories in each food, but I'm going to log it to the best of my ability. My strategy is to drink a lot of water before I eat so I feel fuller. But I'm also not going to deprive myself of a slice of pie either0
